Unsurprisingly the vast majority of St. Clare's graduates go to university as the next step in their career. The majority of these are UK universities, whilst others are international, each place reflecting the interests, abilities and aspirations of students. Other students develop their personal skills and interests by taking a 'gap' year in which to travel, work or volunteer and thus improve their career prospects prior to continuing in education. The list of university destinations in 2005 is impressive, reflecting the remarkable academic success of the 2005 graduates.
UK universities While there is no official overall ranking system of universities in the UK, St. Clare's uses the rankings produced by The Times newspaper. St. Clare's advises students to consider course rankings as well as those for universities when choosing their universities. Students placed in this top 10 and expected to start in October are as follows:
The range of subjects includes medicine, law, engineering, history, maths, computer science, pharmacy, biomedical sciences, economics, business studies, accounting, geography, architecture, international relations, and liberal arts. International Universities and Colleges
