When should I arrive at St. Clare's?
Arrival day is Sunday from 1400
What happens on the first Sunday?
You will be shown round the College and the city of Oxford
When do my studies start?
At 0900 on Monday morning with an English level test
When do my studies end?
The last teaching day is Friday
When do I leave St. Clare's?
You leave on Saturday
Do I need insurance?
No, your fees include travel, medical and personal cover.
Are airport transfers included in my
fees?
No. If you want to be met at the airport you must book and pay for a transfer.

Are excursions included in my fees?
Yes, you can choose one free excursion or activity each week. If you want
to go on extra excursions you can pay for these at the Activities Office.

How much spending money will I need?
We recommend £50 per week plus your Key Deposit of £30 which
will be returned to you as long as you don't lose your key!
Who looks after me in my house?
Each house has a Warden who is responsible for your welfare and good behaviour!
Can I share a bedroom with a friend?
Boys and girls are accommodated in different houses. We do not normally
put two students of the same nationality in the same room.
What about washing my clothes?
We have coin operated washing machines and ironing facilities for you
to use.
What do I need to bring with me?
Remember to bring:
Valid Passport or ID Card
- pocket money
- washing things, soap, shampoo, toothbrush etc
- swimming costume
- sports footwear
- clothes for sport
- warm pullover/top
