Dates & fees for Liberal Arts Programme
St. Clare's Liberal Arts Programme follows a semester system. The first semester runs from early September to mid-December, with a one-week mid-semester break. The second semester runs from early January to mid-May, with a two-week break around Easter, and a long weekend in February.

Tuition Fees 2007
Spring Semester 2007 US $ 11,650 per semester
Autumn Semester 2007 Fees will be published in June 2007
Tuition Fees must be paid no later than 3 weeks before the course begins (unless paying through a university or college).
• St. Clare's Liberal Arts Programme tuition fees are charged in US $ dollars.
• If paying Tuition Fees directly, this must be by US $ Dollar cheque or US $ Dollar International Money Order made payable to St. Clare's, Oxford.
• All students must be covered by our St. Clare's Travel Insurance for the full duration of the course. Further details about our cover and charges are available from the Liberal Arts Programme Office
Payment of registration fee & deposit
Applications must be accompanied by the following fee and deposit:
Registration Fee £100 non-refundable
Course Deposit £500 refundable at the end of the course (less any outstanding charges)

These registration fee and deposit should be paid in £ pounds Sterling either by:

• International Money Order

Accommodation Fees
• The balance of your accommodation fees are due for payment not less than 3 weeks before your course begins. You will not be able to take up residence in St. Clare's accommodation if there is any outstanding balance.
• You may choose to pay by credit or debit card or by International Money Order made payable to St. Clare's, Oxford
• St. Clare's Liberal Arts Programme accommodation fees are charged in £ Sterling.

What the accommodation fees include

Accommodation Fees vary slightly for our different properties and accommodation options:
• for Logan House, Hampden Manor and Staverton Road houses fees include supervised accommodation from the day of arrival to the morning after the last day of the course, including the Autumn and Spring breaks (but not including the Easter break); bed linen, towels and their laundry; room cleaning (weekdays); heating and lighting. A free bus pass is issued to all students at Hampden Manor.
• for Bardwell Road house fees include supervised accommodation from the day of arrival to the morning after the last day of the course, (except for mid-semester breaks and Easter break in the spring semester); bed linen, towels and their laundry; room cleaning (weekdays); heating and lighting; meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday to Friday, and brunch and dinner on Saturdays and Sundays) apart from breaks.

Optional college weekend trips / theatre visits / excursions, etc.
Day excursions at weekends - £20 to £25 (though some are free of charge)
Theatre tickets and transport - £10 to £30
Weekend trip with overnight stay (2 nights) - £70 to £300
Additional sports and other activities
Allow - £10 to £15 per week
Stationery / book purchase (loan of books is included in fees)
Meals
College meals, if paying cash:
Breakfast - £3.05 Lunch - £6.20 Dinner - £6.20
Snacks priced individually
Prices valid until September 2007
General spending money
Allow around - £60 per week
Remember, key deposit, police registration (for students from countries outside the EU) and book purchase all need to be paid for in the first week

Methods of payment
1. You can pay by credit or debit card - we accept the following cards Visa Mastercard Delta Switch / Maestro

If you have paid your deposit by credit or debit card, then you may also pay the balance of fees using the same credit or debit card, 3 weeks before arrival. With your permission we will debit your card for the balance of fees at the right time. Note: Please note a surcharge of 2% will be made for credit card payments above £1000 (one thousand pounds).

Alternative methods of payment
2. If you do not have a credit or debit card you may choose to pay by bank transfer*
Payments by bank transfer will only be accepted for courses booked more than 3 weeks before the start of the course.
