I can not find words powerful enough to describe my four months at St. Clare's. The friends I made from all over the world, the beautiful histories and cultures I experienced travelling Europe, the challenge of studying new subjects - and familiar subjects from a British perspective - all combined to open a new door for me on the world. Not only did I enjoy the challenges and adventures of my study-abroad semester, but I also gained some of the happiest memories of my life at St. Clare's.

St. Clare's Liberal Arts Programme follows a semester system. The first semester runs from early September to mid-December, with a one-week mid-semester break. The second semester runs from early January to mid-May, with a two-week break around Easter, and a long weekend in February.

Spring Semester 2008
The dates for the Spring Semester 2008 will be set in early July. Please check back to these pages to confirm the semester dates. The Spring Semester usually follows the pattern below:
Arrival Day	usually the first Sunday in January
Mid-semester break	usually a long weekend break in mid February - no teaching on the Thursday & Friday
Semester end	usually the second Saturday in May to coincide with final dates in US universities
