Come and join us this summer for a high quality English course and have a great holiday with other students your age from all over the world!
You will live and study on our college campus which is within easy walking distance of Oxford city centre.
You won't be spending all day in a classroom! We have organised a varied and exciting activities programme for you to enjoy, including excursions, sports and social events.
We offer a great variety of courses. Take a look!

    General English

    • From 2 to 9 weeks in June, July & August
    • 21 hours language tuition per week
    • Maximum class size 15 students
    • English levels, elementary to advanced
    • Special courses for beginners

    Weekly study programme includes:

    15 hours of language study for 3 hours in the morning, Monday - Friday
    6 hours of Complementary Studies in the afternoon three times a week
    You choose your Complementary Study subjects. Here are some examples:

    Drama workshop Poetry & Short Stories
    Literature British Life & Culture
    In the News English for Business
    Computer Assisted Language Learning Conversation
    Popular Music and Film Grammar Clinic
    Extend your Vocabulary Composition

    Study visits are part of your course, for example, museums, historical buildings, art galleries. Some Homework is given. You will receive an end of course attendance certificate and academic report.

    Intensive English

    • Choice of two 3-week courses in July and August
    • 25.5 hours of language tuition per week
    • Maximum class size 12 students
    • English levels, intermediate to advanced

    Weekly study programme includes:

    12.5 hours of language study each morning from Monday to Friday
    5 hours of supervised resource based study each morning from Monday to Friday
    8 hours of language study on 4 afternoons each week

    Study visits are part of your course, for example, museums, historical buildings, art galleries. Some Homework is given. You will receive an end of course attendance certificate and academic report.

    English Plus Shakespeare

    • Choice of two 3-week courses in July and August
    • 21 hours of language and literature tuition per week
    • Maximum class size 12 students
    • English levels, intermediate to advanced

    Weekly study programme includes:

    15 hours of language study each morning Monday to Friday
    6 hours of Shakespeare studies on 3 afternoons each week

    Study visits are part of your course, for example, museums, historical buildings, art galleries. Some Homework is given. You will receive an end of course attendance certificate and academic report.

    • 2, 3 or 4 week courses in July and August
    • 21 hours tuition per week
    • Maximum class size 12 students
    • English levels, upper-intermediate to advanced

    Weekly study programme includes:

    Preparation for International Baccalaureate, A Level or other High School studies in English
    15 hours of integrated language skills from Monday to Friday
    6 hours of language development and language based study skills on 3 afternoons each week
    note-taking using libraries
    answering exam questions understanding instructions
    technical vocabulary essay writing

    Study visits are part of your course, for example, museums, historical buildings, art galleries. Some Homework is given. You will receive an end of course attendance certificate and academic report.
