The
teachers teach well and are really helpful. They prepare us very well
for our university studies, and help us to apply for universities. St
Clare's offers many activities and gives us a wonderful social life and
experience. I have been able to adapt my Chinese learning style to the
western learning style. Yan
Yan Tang, University Foundation Course student, PR China
I
liked my stay at St Clare's and I enjoyed each moment. I am very satisfied
with the progress in my English and I like the way the classes were conducted.
Carlos Foltran, English course student,
Brazil
I
value the good quality of teaching, the friends that I have made from
different countries at St Clare's, and the fact that I have increased
my knowledge of theory and learned how to apply it.
Nadia Loladze, University Foundation Course
student, Georgia
My
teachers were very kind, warm-hearted and they really helped me. My Group
teacher gave me some advice about my future - very helpful! I liked the
atmosphere here.
Shuai Shao, English course student, PR China
The
course is ideal for me in every Advanced Studies Programmeect! It combines
the study of very interesting subjects with the study of English. I not
only improve my English skills in the English course, but also while studying
history and psychology. Lea
Baumann, Advanced Studies Programme student, Switzerland
Very
helpful, nice, likeable, great teachers and sympathetic too! I liked the
fact that the teachers and students mix. A nice melting-pot.
Hella Ouertani, English course student,
France
I
am really happy with my teachers, I learned a lot from them. They are
totally prepared, they have mastered their subjects completely. And I
like the fact that there are few students in the classes - you have a
better chance to learn. Gustavo
Guinand, Advanced Studies Programme student, Venezuela
This
has been a great opportunity to improve my English. The teachers always
bring interesting subjects to class. I never thought I could learn so
much in so little time. Lucas
Marques, Advanced Studies Programme student, Brazil
I learned a lot. It was great. All the people were really nice and I felt
welcome from the beginning. I had a great time. Thanks!
Odine van Haastert, English course student,
Holland
I
remain in contact with many of the wonderful friends I made from all over
the world during my time at St Clare's. I arrived not knowing anyone.
Six months later I was invited by one of the Japanese friends I made to
a wedding in Yemen - what a way to expand my social and cultural horizons!
William Adair, Advanced Studies Programme
and Liberal Arts Programme student, Guatemala
At
St. Clare's I lived and studied with students of different cultural backgrounds
and educational interests. Living amongst a diverse community challenged
me to adapt to different lifestyles and enjoy learning from others. Now
I teach teenagers in California where a majority of my students are of
a different cultural background than me. I again find myself adapting
to their culture and interests and enjoying (mostly!) every minute of
it. Kimberly
Hutchings, Liberal Arts Programme student, USA
Motivated
teachers. I enjoyed my course. I appreciated the courtesy shown by everybody
and, in particular, I noted in my Group Teacher the willingness to co-operate
with the students. Sandra Marcon, English
course student, Italy
For
me, St. Clare's was a fantastic introduction into British life and culture.
It was also a great addition to my resume and may have helped in my current
appointment for the Financial Times newspaper in London.
Briana Dougherty, Liberal Arts Programme
student, USA
I
don't know where to begin to express how I feel about St. Clare's. It
changed my life in a million ways. I learned about myself, and I made
friends of a lifetime, and we all still keep in touch and even visit each
other, which is proof of the strength of our friendships. Eileen
Earley, Liberal Arts Programme student, USA
I
liked the academic tutorials, the skill of the teachers and the atmosphere.
Jeppe Bjerke, English course student, Norway
St.
Clare's provided an academic environment which allowed me to expand my
international perspective not only through classroom study, but also through
diverse conversation with people from around the globe. The tutorial system
stimulates proactive learning which certainly enhanced my academic progress
as well as prepared me for my years beyond academics though sound reason
and argument formation. Mark Lewis, Liberal
Arts Programme student, USA
There
were a lot of activities. I think all the teachers are very kind to the
students. I like this school.
