Why St. Clare's?

We have many years' experience delivering the Liberal Arts programme alongside other courses at St. Clare's including academic subject-based programmes, as well as English as a Foreign Language courses.

We offer a stimulating learning environment. All our academic programmes are delivered in small seminar-style classes or one-to-one tutorials. This enables us to be sensitive to the learning styles of our individual students.

The St. Clare's ethos and our commitment to integrate students enrolled on the different programmes of study distinguishes St. Clare's from other study abroad programmes in Oxford and the UK generally.

There are up to 125 students enrolled on the Study Abroad courses, and they come from every corner of the world. St. Clare's provides non-native English speakers the opportunity to study and live with native English speakers. Our native English speaking students have real opportunities to learn from and befriend students from a broad range of nationalities.

The sharing of a common campus for Study Abroad student enables us to deliver academic programmes, intellectual and social activities that truly reflect the founding ethos of St. Clare's - the duty to broaden students' horizons and advance international understanding.
