Entry requirements for the University Foundation Course

Admission depends on the following factors for all students: to apply for the University Foundation Course:

• You must be aged 18
• You must have an Upper Intermediate level of English e.g. FCE (Grade A/); IELTS ( 5.5 or above with at least 5 in each skill); TOEFL with a minimum score of 197 (computer test) or 530 (paper test)
• You must have one year available for study, students admitted in September only

Secondary school qualifications

Below are some examples of qualifications that can be considered for entrance to the St. Clare's University Foundation Course. Please contact our Sales Team if your country is not listed here or if you are unsure if a qualification is acceptable for entry. Students with school leaving qualifications superior to these can also be accepted if it is felt that they would benefit from a year's language study and academic study in English before taking up a place at a British university.
