The vast majority of St. Clare's graduates go to university as the next step in their career. International Baccalaureate Diploma students are supported in their applications for institutions all over the world.
The majority of students start university immediately while a small proportion choose to develop their personal skills and interests by taking a ‘gap year' in which to travel, work or volunteer and thus improve their career prospects prior to continuing in education. The IB 2008 students have applied far and wide and they have been successful in taking places at prestigious universities around the world. The College has a strong, well-regarded Careers Office which provides advice to students seeking entry to universities in the UK, the US and other universities worldwide. The list of university destinations in 2008 is impressive, reflecting the academic success of the 2008 graduates and those who took a gap year in 2007.Summary of destinations for 2008 graduates: |
