Results for IB 2009 graduates at St. Clare's

St. Clare's is pleased to announce another very pleasing set of results in the May 2009 exams which reflects the outstanding work of students and staff together.

We achieved:
  • An outstanding overall pass rate of over 98% and an average points score of 34.35 – this kept us well ahead of the world average points score of 29.53.
  • 49 students with 35 points or more (considered equivalent to 4.5 grade As at A level).
  • 2 students with 45 points - the maximum possible mark, achieved by only 0.2% of candidates around the world.
  • 17% of students gaining the elite category of 40+ points (top 5% around the world).

This is the fifth consecutive year in which we have had 45 point students, an outstanding achievement in the fiercely competitive IB environment.
