IB Theatre students put on productions each year as well as take part in regular Theatre Club workshops given by visiting professionals. Recent productions have included Amanda Whittington's award-winning play Be My Baby and Federico Garcia Lorca's claustrophobic and passion-filled tragedy The House of Bernarda Alba along with Blood Wedding and Yerma. Visiting workshop leaders have included Juliet Edmonds-Seal, an acting tutor and audition panellist, and fight director Jeremy Barlow who gave a workshop on parrying, advancing and lunging with potentially deadly swords.
