IB students take a trip to Barcelona

26 students on IB courses along with the 3 full time members of The Activities Team spent the half term holiday in Barcelona. This trip runs every year and remains a very popular way for students to spend the half term break.

Highlights of the busy itinerary were a walking tour of the City, Sagrada Familia, the famous market La Boqueria, Casa Batllo, Parc Guell and a walk along the beach. The group also visited The Camp Nou, the famous stadium and home of Barcelona FC. The students also had many opportunities to try Tapas and other forms of traditional Spanish cuisine.

This trip is expected to run again at the same time next year and is available both to students who are studying Spanish as part of their course as well as those who are merely interested in exploring this famous Catalan city.
