St. Clare's is pleased to announce another excellent set of results in the May 2011 examinations.
The following are the highlights of this year's results.- 96 students sat the IB Diploma this year and 95 passed, a total of 99%. This has to be put in the context of the world-wide average pass rate for all schools and colleges which is about 78% making the achievements of our students even more significant.
- three students achieved 45 points, the perfect score, achieved by only 0.2 % of all students who take the Diploma, world-wide, each year.
- this is the eight consecutive year in which students at St. Clare's have achieved 45 points.
- the mean score was 35.89, an improvement of 1.38 from last year.
- significant percentage increases have been achieved for students awarded 30 points or more, 35 points or more and 40 points or more which are shown in the table below.
