The River Project

Art teacher Francesca Shakespeare has been running a year long project involving seven local primary schools in Oxford to create over 100 sections of a 50 metre long river. The project was displayed at a local gallery, Art Jericho. Families were invited to celebrate the succes of the river in a party atmosphere event involving music and fun activities.

Francesca is part of The Phil and Jim Art Club, an association of six artists who lead weekly experimental workshops with school children in Oxford.
