St. Clare's is celebrating its third year as the best performing sixth-form college in Oxfordshire according to Government Performance Tables released today. The tables are constructed by the government and include all state schools and independent schools in England.
In addition, the College has also been ranked as having the 8th best independent sixth-form results in England. This is an extraordinary achievement as every school ranked higher than St. Clare's in the Performance Tables is highly selective. St. Clare's has been offering the IB longer than any other school or college in England and is proud of its record in promoting the IB as an alternative qualification to A Levels. Paula Holloway, Principal, said “The College takes a forward-looking approach to education where students' natural curiosity is encouraged in an intellectually stimulating environment. Our students continually give us reason to be proud of them and our heartiest congratulations go to everyone involved in supporting and teaching them".
