Our second year International Baccalaureate students celebrated along with their families and teachers at Graduation Day. The day began with a concert performed by our accomplished music students and lunch in the marquee. 

At last the exams are over and it is time to celebrate.  Our graduating students got dressed up in their finery and celebrated the end of their two years at St. Clare's with the traditional group photo and a party.

​One of our first year IB Biology students, Ali Naif Dzhaber, had an exciting day at the Oxford University Museum of Natural History, collecting morphometric data from skulls stored in the museum's archives.

St. Clare’s was inspected by the Independent Schools Inspectorate [ISI] in March 2013. I am delighted to be able to inform you that the College received an outstanding report - Paula Holloway, Principal

​Fourteen members of the St. Clare's Running club participated​ in the Oxford Town and Gown 10km road race. Over 3000 runners completed the circuit. The club members were also joined by Staff members George Speller, Sarah Klein and Robin Lomax.

On May 25th, Anna Wilson will be shaving and donating her hair for Cancer Research UK and the Little Princess Trust. The Trust makes wigs out of the hair for children and teenagers who suffer from hair loss through chemotherapy and alopecia. 

Nine members of the Running Club joined 575 others in the Blenheim Palace 7km Fun Run.

The 2013 Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award students honed their practice expedition skills at Nant-y-moch in Mid Wales

​Last Friday evening the St Clare's Hall was filled of people viewing an exhibition of works by the second year IB Visual Arts students. 

Finn is one of just two students worldwide who has been successful in achieving the University of British Columbia's International Leader of Tomorrow Award (ILOT). 

The long awaited Sports Personality of the year Award was announced this week.  The Award recognises a student's success in a sport where they are able to show excellence in performance, show dedication and commitment and a sense of community and solidarity. 

St. Clare's hosted the Student World Fair this week, part of the The Student World Tour, the largest showcase for international universities in the UK.

Our second-year IB Chemistry students have just completed a successful and extremely busy revision weekend.

Last week a group of IB students attended a talk given by renowned neuroscientist and former director of the Royal Institute, Baroness Susan Greenfield.

Two St. Clare's students represented the College at the 2013 Independent Schools Football Association (ISFA) U18 Girls Regional Representative Tournament

A group of our IB students spent a few action-packed days in Wales on their first practice expedition for their Duke of Edinburgh's Gold Award

Our first year IB Theatre students put on a top performance in the opening night of their production of Christopher Heimann's play 100, a one-act play about life and death.

We welcomed two eminent visitors from Cuba, Julia Calzadilla and Jose Alberto Negrín, who came in to talk to our Pre-IB and IB students about economic, social and political developments in Cuba in recent times.

We had a very successful Scholarship Day for IB Diploma applicants hoping to attend St. Clare's in August. With a record number of candidates this year than in previous years, the day was very busy with exams, interviews and group exercises.

Our recently-elected Student Council, who have taken up their posts with great enthusiasm, took some time out to pose for photos for us.

Three aspiring medics, currently studying their first year of the IB Diploma, went to a medical conference to learn about this demanding career from real medical students and medical school admissions officers.

Our International Baccalaureate (IB) Courses Open Day was a roaring success and even attracted visitors from as far away as South Africa and Bermuda.

This week we welcomed a variety of local businesses to St. Clare's for our annual Education Business Partnership Day, an event aimed at giving our Pre-IB students a glimpse into the world of work.
