Examination results have been excellent again at St. Clare’s. In May 2013, 109 students took the International Baccalaureate Diploma resulting in an average points score of 36.7. You can appreciate just how well St. Clare’s has done when we compare our result with the average worldwide points score for all schools and colleges, which is less than 30 points.
St. Clare’s is celebrating its third year as the
best performing sixth-form college in Oxfordshire according to Government Performance Tables released in February 2013. The tables are constructed by the UK government and include all state schools and independent schools in England.
In addition, the College has also been ranked as having the 8th best independent sixth-form results in England. This is an extraordinary achievement as every school ranked higher than St. Clare’s in the Performance Tables is highly selective.
Paula Holloway, Principal, said
The College takes a forward-looking approach to education where students’ natural curiosity is encouraged in an intellectually stimulating environment. Our students continually give us reason to be proud of them and our heartiest congratulations go to everyone involved in supporting and teaching them |
