This is our most popular course for teenagers. It combines integrated English Language skills with Active Language Projects and a wide range of activities and excursions.
Active Language Projects (ALPS) encourage you to ‘activate’ your language skills in imaginative and exciting ways. There are three basic stages:
- Preparation - input from the teacher or research by the learner;
- Development - organising and sharing ideas with other members of the class;
- Production - a presentation or a performance which concludes the activity.
There’s always a clear language outcome which the learner moves towards during the week. Here are some examples:
- Class magazine, photo-display, digital story
- Competitive Quiz, Questionnaire or treasure trail
- Presentation (visual, oral) based on a Study Visit to a location within Oxford
Please note: 1 lesson=55 minutes
