Examination results have been excellent again at St. Clare’s. St. Clare’s has one of the largest groups of students in the country taking the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma. In May 2014, 121 students took the International Baccalaureate Diploma resulting in an average points score of 36. Four students were awarded the maximum 45 points something less than 0.2% of the student body achieve worldwide. This is the 10th consecutive year in which students at St. Clare's have achieved 45 points. You can also appreciate just how well St. Clare’s has done when we compare our result with the average worldwide points score for all schools and colleges, which is less than 30 points.
St. Clare’s is celebrating its fourth year as the best performing sixth-form college in Oxfordshire according to the Government Performance Tables released in February 2014. The tables are collated by the UK government and include all state schools and independent schools in England.
In addition, St. Clare's is ranked as the 8th best school in the Performance Tables for England which are published every year in January by the government. This includes every secondary school in England both state and independent. The College's position in the table means that there are no other sixth form schools or colleges which have performed better than St. Clare's.
