The Adult Accommodation Fees Include
College houses

  • Supervised accommodation from the day of arrival to the morning after the last day of the course; bed linen and towels; room cleaning (weekdays); heating and lighting.
  • Accommodation fees include your stay in your house during the mid semester breaks but not the two week spring break.
  • If you have chosen to include meals you are entitled to lunch Monday to Friday (excluding the semester breaks)

Homestay

  • Fees include accommodation as a guest with a local host (appraised and inspected regularly by our Student Services Officer), single room, bed linen and towels, laundry facilities, breakfast and dinner every day (lunches can be bought in college) and support provided by the Student Services Officer in college. Some of our hosts offer a single superior option (ensuite facilities).

Examination fees Fees for the following examinations are currently between approximately £35- £155. Please refer to our Sales Office for more details.
Cambridge examinations. Entry and fees are due about 3 months before the exam date. FCE First Certificate in English

General spending money - allow around - £80 per week. Remember, key deposit, police registration (for students from countries outside the EU) and book purchase all need to be paid for in the first week
Optional weekend trips / theatre visits / excursions, etc. Day excursions at weekends - £25 to £30 (though some are free of charge)
Theatre tickets and transport - £15 to £45
Weekend trip with overnight stay (2 nights) - £80 to £350
Music lessons (per lesson) - £35 to £45
Additional sports and other activities - allow - £20 to £25 per week

St. Clare's offers a private transfer service by car. We collect students from all the major London airports - Gatwick, Heathrow, Luton, Stansted and London City airport; train stations; hotels or any location in the UK. Our airport transfer prices are given below.

If you are travelling together with friends on the same flight we can collect you together. You will need to give your friends' names at the time of booking your transfer.

At busy times, when we have different students arriving at similar times, we send several cars to the airport and collect students together. When this happens there is no reduction in the cost of the transfer for individual students.

You may wish to travel to St. Clare's using the bus or train services. All the airports are linked to Oxford by excellent bus services. Visit the local bus company websites to see just how easy and cheap it is to travel to Oxford by bus. Oxford Tube (from London to Oxford) - The Airline (from Gatwick and Heathrow to Oxford).
