Examination results have been excellent again at St. Clare’s. St. Clare’s has one of the largest groups of students in the country taking the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma. In May 2014, 121 students took the International Baccalaureate Diploma resulting in an average points score of 36. Four students were awarded the maximum 45 points something less than 0.2% of the student body achieve worldwide. This is the 10th consecutive year in which students at St. Clare's have achieved 45 points. You can also appreciate just how well St. Clare’s has done when we compare our result with the average worldwide points score for all schools and colleges, which is less than 30 points.
St. Clare’s is celebrating its fifth year as the best performing sixth-form college in Oxfordshire according to the Government Performance Tables released in January 2015. The tables are collated by the UK government and include all state schools and independent schools in England.
The Performance Tables published in January 2015 reported that St. Clare’s continues to maintain its outstanding academic performance. Of the 4,303 schools and colleges in England which were included in the performance table, St. Clare’s was ranked tenth overall, using the average points scored per student.
