Summer Courses - life on campus age 15-17

Our summer courses for young people aged between 15 and 17 years are a combination of stimulating English language learning with a brilliant programme of activities and sport.

We have been organising courses at St. Clare's for over 50 years and in that time we have built up a wealth of experience in looking after young people who are away from home as well as a reputation for providing high quality educational courses.

There are a number of different courses to choose from. Link here to find out more.

The Banbury Road Campus, where you will live and study, is a five minute bus ride from the city-centre. Oxford has lots to offer during the summer; there are the fascinating university colleges, parks, museums, great shops, restaurants, pubs and night-clubs. Punting on the river with friends is well worth a try!

As you would expect, St. Clare's is well equipped for your studies. The following facilities are available for you to use seven days a week.

Boys and girls are accommodated separately in one of our houses. Most rooms are twins with some single, triple and four-bedded rooms. Each house has a resident Warden who is responsible for your welfare. There is a common room with TV and DVD player and card-operated washing machines for personal laundry.

Meals

All meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner, are taken in the college dining room. Sandwiches and snacks are also available from the Sugar House café. There is always a choice of main course, a salad bar, fresh fruit and a vegetarian option. Dietary requirements are catered for; just tell us what you need.

Experienced staff

Our staff are all carefully chosen. They are properly qualified and experienced and have all been officially checked for their suitability to work with young people. Many of them return to work with us each summer.

Activities

St. Clare's offers a wide range of activities during the summer. The activities programme is an important part of the overall educational experience and all students are expected to take part.
