Day students are very welcome and usually between 10% and 20% of St. Clare’s students are day (non-residential) students. Often they will live in Oxford or in one of the surrounding towns or villages.
Each day student is a member of a residential house, which they can use during the day.
Day student fees include breakfast, lunch and evening meals, seven days a week.
We also allow day students to stay over one night each week in their boarding house. This might be because there is a CAS activity that finishes quite late, or maybe they just want to socialize (or even study) with boarding students. This provision allows day students to integrate well with residential students.
