Punting on the Thames

by on 29/06/2017

When the weather is fine our students enjoy punting on the River Thames. At first it is quite difficult as they have to stand at the back of the punt and push hard on a very long pole; the trick is to keep hold of the pole, if not, you fall in! Most students had a go and it was great fun. This activity is one of the highlights for our adult students studying English or university courses at St Clare’s.
