Pre-IB and IB Diploma term dates

Autumn Term 2020  
Thursday 3 September  Arrivals Day – IB1 and all other new students 
Thursday 3 September – Sunday 6 September IB1 and Pre-IB Orientation 
Sunday 6 September Arrivals Day – Remaining IB2 students return 
Monday 7 September 09:00 Classes begin
Friday 23 October Teaching finishes at 16:15
Saturday 24 October Departure Day – Students depart by 12:00
Sunday 1 November Arrivals Day – Students return between 10:00 and 20:00
Monday 2 November  09:00 Classes begin 
4 – 18 December Online teaching. Students can depart for home
Saturday 19 December  Boarding houses close for the Christmas break

 

Spring Term 2021  
Monday 4 January Arrivals Day 1 – For any student who needs to quarantine
Tues 5 – Mon 18 January Online teaching for all students
Monday 18 January Arrivals Day 2 – For those students who DO NOT need to quarantine
Tuesday 19 January Face-to-face classroom teaching resumes
NO FEBRUARY HALF TERM  
Friday 19 March Teaching finishes
Saturday 20 March Departure Day – students leave by 12:00

 

 

Summer Term 2021  
Monday 12 April  Arrivals Day 1 – for IB2 ONLY
Sunday 18 April Arrivals Day 2 – For any student in IB1 or PIB who needs to quarantine
Monday 19 – Friday 30 April Online teaching for all students
Thursday 29 April to Friday 21 May Final IB exams for second-year students
Sunday 2 May  Arrivals Day 3 – For any student in IB1 or PIB who DOES NOT need to quarantine
Monday 3 May  Face-to-face classroom teaching resumes
Tuesday 25 May  Graduation Day for second-year IB students
Friday 18 June PIB teaching ends
Wednesday 23 June IB1 teaching ends
