University Foundation Offers

St Clare’s University Foundation students regularly receive offers from highly-competitive universities. We work closely with students to find the course and university that meets their career aspirations. About half of our foundation students choose courses at European universities where they can continue their academic studies in English.

Many foundation programmes prepare students for further study at specific universities. We work holistically to ensure the Careers and Higher Education support suits the needs of the student. With over 60 years’ experience teaching students from around the world, our quality University Pathway provision puts the student first, and supports them to find university opportunities. This is not limited to the UK, it extends to Europe and beyond.

Why choose our University Foundation Programme?

Our University Foundation Programme is designed to gently build confidence inside and outside the classroom and so students become independent learners. With classrooms capped at 15 students our academic programmes benefit from small class sizes. This high staff-to-student ratio provides greater levels of support for students to develop academic literacies in essay writing, debating, critical thinking, researching and presentation skills.

St Clare’s in an international college, so if you choose to study our University Foundation Programme you will expand your cross-cultural awareness. We prepare you for life in the UK and progression onto university in just a year. Find out more about our University Foundation Programme or download our college brochure.

Book your place on our University Foundation Programme this September (IELTS 5.0), November (IELTS 5.5) or January (IELTS 6.0).
