Our IC Admissions and Office teams are listed below:

Karen Heath – Head of IC Admissions

Karen Patricia Heath is the Head of Admissions for the International College. She has been with St Clare’s since 2012, and has taught across the Undergraduate Programme, English Plus Academic Subjects, the University Foundation Programme, and bespoke courses. Karen holds a 1st class BA (Hons) in Modern History from London Guildhall University, an MPhil in Historical Studies from the University of Cambridge, and a DPhil in Modern History from the University of Oxford. Karen advises prospective students on their study options and warmly welcomes enquiries about all aspects of life at St Clare’s.

Zoe Hua – IC Admissions Officer

Zoe was born in Taiwan, raised in the Netherlands, and has been living in the UK since 2020. Having attended international school for the first nine years of her education, she took an interest in learning languages and feels most at home in an international environment. After earning her BA in Foreign Languages and Literatures, she moved to the UK to complete a Masters in Linguistics, Philology, and Phonetics at the University of Oxford, specialising in Historical Linguistics and Sociolinguistics. Upon graduating, she decided to expand her knowledge of language acquisition by completing a CELTA qualification at St Clare’s. In her spare time, Zoe enjoys challenging herself with recreating dishes from all over the world and exploring the Oxfordshire countryside.

Christine Kim – Academic Administrator

Christine grew up in the United States and holds a BA in Sociology and Russian Language and Literature from McGill University. Her professional journey has taken her across borders, with diverse experience in international companies in Korea and Thailand. She earned her TEFL certification and taught English to pre-schoolers in Thailand and adults in Korea, experiences that deepened her passion for language education. Christine moved to the UK to pursue a Masters in Applied Linguistics for Language Teaching and later completed her CELTA training at St Clare’s. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, taking long walks, and greeting every dog and cat she meets along the way—usually with a coffee in hand (or two).

Nikki Baker – Office Administrator

Nikki has been part of the St Clare’s community since 2015 and brings over a decade of experience working with international students. She is dedicated to helping the college deliver a world-class experience for all learners.
