Round One

2002 Entry

  • Restricted to UK-based applicants.

    • Please note that UK-based applicants may alternatively apply for Round 2.
    Closing date for applications: Monday 19 November 2001
    Interviews at the College: from Monday 19 November to Friday 30 November 2001

    Maximum award:
    50% of tuition fees (day students)
    50% of total fees (fully residential and weekly residential students)
    Candidates for larger awards should apply for Round 2 awards, and attend the Scholarship Day.
    Decisions: by Friday 7 December

    Round 1 is intended for applicants resident in the UK who would like an early decision.

    Interviews will take between 2 and 2½ hours in total, including opportunity to look around the College, and no specific preparation will be required. Short written tests may be required during the interview visit - again no specific preparations will be required.

    It is very helpful if parents or guardians can accompany candidates, although it is not essential. Separate appointments may be made for candidates and parents or guardians to visit, if this is more convenient.
