What the accommodation fees include
Accommodation fees vary depending on room type and meal plan options:
• for self-catering houses fees include supervised accommodation from the day of arrival to the morning after the last day of the course, including the Autumn and Spring breaks (but not including the Easter break); bed linen, towels and their laundry; room cleaning (weekdays); heating and lighting. A free bus pass is issued to all students at Hampden Manor.
• for our meals included house fees include supervised accommodation from the day of arrival to the morning after the last day of the course, (except for mid-semester breaks and Easter break in the spring semester); bed linen, towels and their laundry; room cleaning (weekdays); heating and lighting; meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday to Friday, and brunch and dinner on Saturdays and Sundays) apart from breaks.

Additional charges
Travel insurance is included in the fees for the course - there is no extra charge for English language course students. Contact our Sales Team for full details of cover.
Optional college weekend trips / theatre visits / excursions, etc.
Day excursions at weekends - £20 to £25 (though some are free of charge)
Theatre tickets and transport - £10 to £30
Weekend trip with overnight stay (2 nights) - £70 to £300

Examination fees
Fees for the following examinations are currently between approximately £30- £150. Please refer to English Courses Office for details
Cambridge examinations
(may be taken each term except CPE and CAE)
Entry and fees are due about 3 months before the exam date.
KET Key English test
PET Preliminary English Test
FCE First Certificate in English
CAE Certificate in Advanced English
CPE Certificate of Proficiency in English

TOEIC, TOEFL (for further study in USA) SAT I, SAT II, (3 sets)

Methods of payment
1. You can pay by credit or debit card - we accept the following cards Visa Mastercard Delta Switch / Maestro

If you have paid your deposit by credit or debit card, then you may also pay the balance of fees using the same credit or debit card, 3 weeks before arrival. With your permission we will debit your card for the balance of fees at the right time. Note: Please note a surcharge of 2% will be made for credit card payments above £1000 (one thousand pounds).

Alternative methods of payment
2. If you do not have a credit or debit card you may choose to pay by bank transfer*
Payments by bank transfer will only be accepted for courses booked more than 3 weeks before the start of the course.

How to apply

In order to apply for these courses you must be at least 18 years old. Your level of English must be Elementary or above to join our group classes. If you are a beginner or false beginner, you must take one-to-one lessons until your level is high enough.
