Academic year dates 2007 / 2008
St. Clare's University Foundation Course runs for a full academic year from end August / beginning September to mid June. It is made up of a two-semester system. The first semester runs from early September to mid-December, with a one-week mid-semester break. The second semester runs from early January to mid-June. Entry to the course is only once a year, at the start of the academic year which is the end of August / beginning of September.

Tuition Fees 2007 / 2008
Tuition fees per full academic year 2007 / 2008			£13,310
• Tuition fees are invoiced and payable in two installments in August and December • Tuition fees for 2008 / 2009 will be set by the College in June 2008
Payment of fees & deposit
Application must be accompanied by the following fee and deposit:

Some course elements may incur additional cost: Examination fees Fees for the following examinations are currently between approximately £30- £150. Please refer to Senior Courses Office for details. Entry and fees are due about 3 months before the exam date. Terms & conditions

Travel Insurance Please note: all University Foundation Course students are covered by the St. Clare's Travel Insurance for the whole year including holidays. Travel insurance is included in the tuition fees. Full details are given in our Travel Insurance Policy document. 1. You can pay by credit or debit card - we accept the following cards

If you have paid your deposit by credit or debit card, then you may also pay the balance of fees using the same credit or debit card, 3 weeks before arrival. With your permission we will debit your card for the balance of fees at the right time. Note: Please note a surcharge of 2% will be made for credit card payments above £1000 (one thousand pounds).

Alternative methods of payment

Payments by bank transfer will only be accepted for courses booked more than 3 weeks before the start of the course.

How to apply

In order to apply for this course you must be at least 18 years old. You must also be qualified for entry to university in your own country. Your level of English must be at least the level of Cambridge First Certificate (FCE), IELTS 5.5, TOEFL 197 (computer score) or 530 (paper score).
