Any Questions?

These are just a few of the questions parents and students have asked in the past. I hope you will find the answers here - if not do not hesitate to call us.

When should I arrive at St. Clare's?

Arrival day is Sunday.

Are airport transfers provided?

Yes, young students enrolled on one of our junior courses have free transfers if their flight arrives and departs from London Heathrow airport at the times and dates given in this detailed schedule - airport pick up times. If you arrive outside of these hours please contact us so that we can arrange a special transfer service. This will be at an extra cost. Arrivals and departures from other airports will be charged separately. See more details about our airport transfer service.

What happens on Arrival Day?

On the first Sunday of the course you will be met by our staff, and driven to the school. New students will be welcomed and shown to their rooms. Food is available all day. We take care of pocket money, tickets, passports and valuables.

What happens on Departure Day?

Who will be responsible for my child?

Our staff are carefully chosen. They are all properly qualified and experienced and have all been officially checked for their suitability to work with children. Many of them return to work for us each summer. The Course Director is supported by an Activities Director, Director of Studies and a Welfare Officer. In addition there will be up to eight qualified and experienced teachers and an Activities Team of between six to eight enthusiastic and qualified staff.

Do I need insurance?

No, the course fees include travel insurance cover with an independent insurance company organised by St. Clare's brokers. These are the full details of the Travel Insurance Policy. If you need to make any claims on the policy you must contact the insurance company yourself. However we strongly recommend that you take out your own insurance in the case of lost or stolen belongings.

We think £50 per week is plenty. You will also need £20 for your damage deposit.
