St. Clare’s administers the SAT, the standardised test for admission to American universities, in October, December and May. If you wish to take the SAT on other dates, please consult www.collegeboard.org to find other test centres in the UK.

Please note the following information about test days:
- The SAT instructs test takers to report by 07:45
- On test days, the college doors will open at 07:30
- The SAT specifies that family members must leave the test centre during the test. There are no facilities for accompanying family members at the college; however, various cafés and shops are to be found in Summertown, a five minute walk north of the campus, and we are just over a mile from Oxford city centre.
- All inquiries about the SAT tests themselves should be directed to www.collegeboard.org where there is information for students, parents, and education professionals about test preparation and registration.
- St. Clare’s does not run SAT preparation courses. Please consult the Fulbright Commission’s website for advice: www.fulbright.co.uk
