Facilities for International Baccalaureate students

The Banbury Road Campus is made up of several buildings all within a five-minute walk of each other and located in beautiful north Oxford. Our approach is informal and friendly so students can catch up with teachers and staff when they are free between lessons or activities or in the dining room. Students call staff by their first name, which comes naturally after a few days but is unusual at first!

Recent developments include:

  • 2015 — construction of a £5.5 million student residence and art studio. The buildings provides separate housing for male and female students in ensuite study bedrooms around an Oxford-style courtyard with a large square lawn
  • 2014 — construction of a new £3.3 million Science and Mathematics building providing three science laboratories and prep rooms, three large classrooms for Mathematics lessons and a new maintenance facility
  • 2010 — £1.3 million redevelopment of a large newly purchased residence next to the main Banbury Road Campus buildings, providing 24 student bedrooms plus warden accommodation

St. Clare’s is a place where I’ve been able to explore my academic and non-academic interests by having discussions with people from all over. It’s helped me prepare for what comes my way in the future and has been a phenomenal experience.
