Open days at St. Clare's

We hold several Open Days during the academic year. During these open days you will have the opportunity to take a tour of the college given by current students and attend sample classes.
You will also have the chance to meet the Principal and attend presentations by the Vice Principal
as well as current St. Clare's students.

Open Days
We hold two Open Days each year and encourage parents and students to visit the College, meet with current students and staff, hear presentations and get a feel for what it might be like to study here. Informal discussions follow with lunch for parents and students in College.

Saturday 29 September 2012 - 1000 - 1400
Saturday 2 March 2013 - 1000 - 1400

Enquiries should be directed to Chris Osbourn, our Admissions Registrar, at admissions@stclares.ac.uk

Our recent open days have highlighted how many people are interested in learning more about the
IB Diploma. This is hardly surprising in light of the UCAS tariff in which the IB compares very
favourably with A levels and the recent surveys of how highly regarded applicants with the IB are by
top universities both in Britain and around the world.

Chris Osbourn, Admissions Registrar at St. Clare's, was formerly an admissions professional at
Cambridge University and King's College, London. Chris recalls how these universities welcomed
IB student applications, as the grading system and demands of the IB demonstrated the candidate's abilities and talents so well, and allowed real distinctions between candidates
to be made.

Please do contact Chris Osbourn - he will be able give you more information about our Open Days
and tell you about our range of Scholarships and Bursaries and the application procedure.
If you would like to visit the College at another time, we're always very happy to make an appointment
for you.
