IB trip to Northern Ireland

by on 29/04/2017

IB students and staff visited Northern Ireland as part of the CAS programme exploring politics, geography, philosophy as well as culture and history.

Visiting Derry and Belfast students were given the opportunity to learn more about the tension that still exists between the Nationalists and the Loyalists and try to gain an insight into these famous cities and their two communities.

The spectacular murals of both sides explain much of the troubles of the 1970s to the present day. The students really enjoyed visiting the new Titanic museum.
