activities::

The activities department consists of 5 full-time, qualified staff; there are opportunities for sport, excursions and activities for all students on all courses.

The department supervises and co-ordinates the "Creativity, Action and Service" (CAS) elements of the IB Diploma: all IB students must complete this programme before they are awarded their IB Diploma.

Many activities are free, but some will have an additional cost, such as weekend trips and music tuition.

Excursions include day trips to places of interest in UK, theatre trips, weekend trips within the UK and mainland Europe and longer expeditions to other parts of the world.

creativity::
Musical options include instrumental and vocal tuition, chamber ensemble, jazz and guitar groups. Photography, Art, International Affairs and Salsa are among other creative pursuits on offer.

action::
This includes a wide range of sports and fitness activities. For fitness, there are yoga, aerobics, step aerobics, circuit training and now Capeora, the Brazilian martial art/dance form.

Sports include football, squash, tennis, basketball and snow boarding at the Milton Keynes Snow Dome (about 40 minutes away). Sports take place in nearby sports centres.

service::
There are a number of projects in the region, including environmental projects, support for the homeless, for refugees, the young, elderly and disabled. It is important that students are actively involved in helping those around them, and there are over 100 opportunities to do so.
