• the College Nurse is available for several hours each weekday
• students who are staying more than 6 months are registered with a local Doctor
• any emergencies are treated at the Accident and Emergency Unit of a local hospital
• students from member states of the European Economic Area (EEA) are entitled to free medical treatment if they have brought Form 128 with them, or produce their passport
• students who are here for less than 6 months and are non-EEA residents must pay for medical treatment, but can reclaim this, as all students are covered by St. Clare's insurance
• for basic medicines and advice, there is a pharmacy 10 minutes from College, and another pharmacy open until 10.00pm nearby
